Musk has also been supporting a guy who goes by the name of Tommy
Robinson (not his actual name) in the UK - in prison for contempt of court.
This pair are really attaching themselves to the lowest life forms possible, &
yet still smell of roses to their supporters.
How did we get to a point where accused rapists, known for promoting the
worst treatment of women & racists, stirrers of hate & social disorder
became the ones that will be held up as examples of who we should
defend?
I blame that period of time where business started to worship @ the feet of
‘disrupters’ as being a contributing factor. Upset the apple cart, see what
falls out, see where we land.
In a pretty big pile of crap from the looks of things

I'm hopeful we can get to the midterms and course-correct this dumpster fire of a country. I cringe every time I accidentally turn on the (compromised) news.
It's so depressing that we've come to this.... and most don't see the big deal.

A bit of "good trouble" today for those who want to participate. There's a nationwide "economic blackout" day today, just shaking up big businesses with a day of not buying anything (small businesses excepted). It's a way to show that people are not entirely powerless.
If this has any impact, then it can become more organized and targeted.

I love these protest/economic blackout days.
Some stores can be too 'people'y' for my tastes. People not watching where they're going, oblivious to their surroundings, take up the whole aisle, loud, obnoxious, dubious hygiene practices, etc.
Great day to 'get-in, get-out', find what I need and go through the checkout in peace with hardly any delays.

Well that was a shit show.
Bullying Zelenski because he wouldn't kiss their ring.
Their fans and Putin would have lapped that up. Everyone
else hangs their head.

Not a Zelenskyy fanboy either, but he stood his ground rightfully in that surreal spectacle.

I'm still wondering WHY our Congress isn't sounding the alarms... oh wait, they suddenly powerless, right?
Why aren't the country's powerful and influential (the good ones) acting on this?? Did everyone NOT expect things to get this bad with the Russian/Ukraine war??
What's the endgame here?

To be clear, Trump and Vance did not want Zelensky to be thankful.
They wanted him to GROVEL.
What an infuriating, ugly, embarrassing spectacle. One to be added to the already existing pile. Many more to come, I'm afraid.
