No, it's by no means a point and laugh over here. Our former First Minister pretty obviously despised Trump and resented having to even acknowledge him when he was President.

So we're looking in horror at what's going on now. And aghast at so many Americans overlooking Trump's history of abuse to put him in power once again. It's a real sad indictment of modern society, that he can break so many laws with impunity, commit so much deplorable, and downright evils acts, and not only suffer no consequences for it, but actually be rewarded with the highest office in the land.

It is beyond understanding how a population so large can only come up with one eligible candidate for opposing this abomination of a man. And one who might be sadly doomed to failure in opposing him because of all the rascists and misogynists out there.

Winston Churchill over here was one of many throughout the years who tried to remind us that "Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it." And this horrific car crash of a political fiasco, is looking like it's going to prove the truth of that saying, yet again.

It's enough to make anyone weep for the future of this species to be honest, and want to get off this planet before we completely self destruct this world.

I stopped laughing at Trump the day he won the election in 2016.

It's important for Americans to understand that he isn't some warped reflection of your society. He is a *crystal clear* reflection. His racism is an electoral asset, not a liability. Exposing it doesn't hurt him; it strengthens him.

Trump got 46.1% of the popular vote in 2016. He got 46.8% in 2020.

Calling him and his policies "un-American" is a fantasy.

The fantasy lies in assuming there is anything that truly represents “America”. All Americans think they are the real deal, embodying what the country is all about. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Freedom of Speech represents America.  The Left doesn't believe in that anymore.

Of course, the Left doesn't believe in Freedom of Religion anymore either or they wouldn't be sending grandmas to prison for praying outside of abortion clinics or siccing the FBI on Catholics.

The Left used to be anti-War also but that changed after Obama armed Jihadis (aka Terrorists) to overthrow Gaddafi in Libya and Assad in Syria.

Not to mention overthrowing the democratically elected of government of Ukraine in 2014 by backing NAZIs.

This is parroting Russian propaganda.

The events you are referring to are the ousting of President Yanykovych. He was ousted by a parliamentary vote (LINK to BBC news story from the time). This vote followed widespread protests by the people of Ukraine against Yankovych's refusal to sign a trade agreement with the EU on account of Russian pressure. (LINK to BBC news story from the time).

Rather than being a violent coup d'etat, these events followed police forces killing protesters (LINK to UN report on the killings).

BBC is government propaganda.

There is more evidence that the NAZIs killed the protesters than the police.
