Very sad news. I first noticed his great work when he pitch hit to ink Neal Adams for Green Lantern #79.

Sad to learn this. I most admired his full art on Doctor Strange!

Such an incredible, versatile artist. Incredible painter and penciler in his own right, but elevated such diverse talent as Dave Cockrum, John Romita Jr., Marc Silvestri, and Rick Leonardi on X-Men and its spinoff titles. My condolences to his friends and family.

This saddens me deeply. He was one of the best in the business.

Green inked X-Men for most of my 'golden era' of reading X-Men, Romita Jr's two runs and Marc Silvestri's run. He helped make both collaborators' work distinct and, for me, unforgettable.
I always wanted to meet him but never got the chance. I'm sad to hear he's passed.

I first noticed his great work when he pitch hit to ink Neal Adams for Green Lantern #79. * Wasn't that one inked by Dan Adkins?

CBR's article on Dan Green: https://www.cbr.com/marvel-uncanny-x-men-artist-dan-green-ob ituary/
I didn't know Dan Green did painted comic work until I saw this quote:
"During his break on the book, Green showed off his painting skills by painting the graphic novel, Doctor Strange: Shamballa, with writer J.M. DeMatteis...
Rest In Peace.
