I bought the first Echo anthology comic issue. It had some interesting material (Bucky O'Hare by Golden maybe? Tippytoe Jones?) but somehow I never got any other issues. It was pretty pricey though compared to almost everything else similar at the time. I saw some of their comics on regular (non-direct sale) newsstand spinner-racks and thought maybe they overextended themselves financially?
So one single purchase, and I had bought both Pacific Comics' Ms. Mystic issues (far apart as they were, plus preview in Captain Victory).
I like anthologies myself, bought Eclipse's regularly, liked all DC's sf and mystery ones and dollar comics, but they didn't seem to sell in the U.S. marketplace. Stuff not wanted coming with stuff wanted alongside high cover price as factors? Backbone of other countries' comics industries, but Echo (Of Futurepast) was as doomed as any over here.
