THE NEW TEEN TITANS was the only DC book I bought wen I was young - his art on that was so perfect and really made the series for me. I've been revisiting the series since his passing, and it still holds up so well. That will be his biggest legacy for me.

Today would have been George's 68th birthday.

72 is bearing down on me. So very sad that George didn’t get there—and beyond!

George had a lot of life in his years though.

Svengoolie had a nice tribute for George Perez during last weekend's show.

I was happy when while watching Svengoolie he did the brief tribute. It would have been nice if they replayed the interview they did together.

Don’t feel this thread should fade away just yet.

When I first bought X-MEN Annual #3, my first thought was... hey, where'd John Byrne go?! Damn!
And then...
...man!
That's some storytelling in art alone.

Over 20 years in the making and well worth the wait, The New Teen Titans: Games reminds us WHY Pérez is the legend that he is... his innovative panel layouts, beautiful character rendering, wonderful character expressions/acting... this graphic novel is not referenced enough in Pérez's body of work -
Need to pull this one out to revisit.
-C!

DC will be publishing a poster book in November of George’s greatest covers. What exactly those covers will be has yet to be announced.

It's still hard to believe he's gone. Can't wait to immerse myself in some of his comics this weekend!
