That image pf Wolverine didn't strike me as him being a teenager, just having shorter hair. He still looked pretty grown up.

So did Colossus. The dialogue about growing to love them and the shorter hair gave me the impression of a younger man with the Hudsons taking on a  parental role.. Obviously, I have had the wrong interpretation for 40ish years.  Live and learn.

Seeing Mac and Heather's first meeting with Logan is something I hoped we'd see in Alpha Flight as a kid.  Nice to see it happen nearly forty years later.

 | •• Confessing, of course, that in the context of ELSEWHEN I am not concerning myself with any aspect of that "first encounter" that might have been seen or hinted at before--even if I was the one doing the showing and hinting! This is clean slate time!!

I had to look up the word mawashi. Makes sense that Logan would opt for that.

It makes me very happy that the prime minister's first thought is to apologize to Logan. I hope I would do the same in his position.

I also really enjoy that this series of events means it's not possible for Mac to have had any hand in Logan's pain and suffering, at least not intentionally or up to this point.
Must be so weird to wander alone in the wilderness for so long and then hang out with folks who have a whole grill and such. |

 | •• Over the years, I have gone back and forth in my mind over the degree to which Mac was involved in the "Weapon X" project. Obviously, as time passed and the beginnings of that project moved further into the Past, it became less and less likely that Mac could have been involved at all. At least, if I wanted to keep him a manageable age. Now, I apply "Marvel Time" and the scene in the PM's office (thank you Google!) takes place very close to the first public appearance of the Fantastic Four, "seven years ago".

Mac's lucky to be alive after showing up with sparkling seltzer.

I really was expecting more exploding heads over this sequence. I guess most of you have slipped comfortably into the ELSEWHEN Zone!
