The instant cutaway from Lilandra was a dead giveaway this was Phoenix related to my eyes, but I have no idea why, and that’s the best part.

I kept thinking 'what the heck' until going through the comments - so it really is Phoenix? Huh. Weird. Got me 100% off guard that is for sure. I was still thinking Proteus but that he somehow got 'Phoenix' imagery from Jean there probably because I was so sure that was who it was.
Also a reminder of why guys over 40 shouldn't wear spandex outfits imo (I'm 52 and my daughters would die of embarrassment if I put on that outfit).

There are some 40+ year old men that could probably pull off wearing such an outfit, but they're likely a Hollywood star like a Brad Pitt, or former sports star. I couldn't pull off such an outfit in my 20's. LOL!

Yeah it's clear from the comments that there are a few of us (including me) who still thought they were right even when they were clearly wrong. Haha, oh well, that means I still have no correct predictions for Elsewhen so far.

It seems to me as though every "Phoenix" we've seen so far--Jean, Lilandra, and now this cop--has some aspects in common but they manifest this cosmic entity in different ways.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this new guy affects what Phoenix does or doesn't do.

One of the things that have annoyed/depressed me over the years has been those people who wrote to say “Byrne didn’t do what I expected—so he got it wrong!” Refreshing, then, to see no trace of that here!(There was a flip side, too, where people with no apparent knowledge of how far in advance the issues were produced wrote in to say they were pleased to see I’d “followed their advice” and fixed something I was doing wrong in the previous issue!)

Oh, damn. We are seeing a gradual and logical first step towards the Adamantium skeleton happening right before our flashbacking eyes.
I never thought about it before, but it makes perfect sense that a few small braces would be the first step in that process.
JB, in your mind, do Logan's bones never heal or do they simply heal slowly, like a normal person? Feel free to ignore that. Just curious.

Wow, what was Cap recruiting for way back then? This is a cracker of a story mate, and love Logan flying the Commonwealth flag! 😄👍🍻🍻🇦🇺

I think I have an idea, but that would be speculating, so I'm gonna sit back and watch...
... and probably find out I was wrong, anyway. ;)

Richard Steven’s, right there with you. I love the idea that bone and flesh heal differently in Logan, thus giving purpose to lacing his bones with adamantium. Something I never gave much thought to until now. It’s nice when a story element falls into place so perfectly.

…lacing his bones with adamantium…•• You won't be seeing THAT in ELSEWHEN. Here there are no concessions to Shooter's Whim of Iron.
