There is something about young Logan that reminds me of Paolo. Am I imagining that?

JB, is there some satisfaction to telling this story you've had in mind for so long? Have to imagine it's a relief to put it to paper after all this time.

Wow! These last two pages effectively justify Logan's hatred for Sabretooth. JB -- I can view these pages without reading the words and clearly tell what's happening in the story. How do you decide how to layout a page and choose the best "camera angles"? Does it typically take long?

Oh, you bet! And with it the extra satisfaction of knowing what I put on the page is what will appear before your eyes. No editorial interference, and, best of all, no scripting that casually takes a carefully plotted scene/moment in an entirely different direction from what was planned.

I've been too long on the job to be able to describe that process. It's all instinctive, now. Sorry!

JB, did you and Chris have a real name for Sabretooth when he was being
developed?

I understand -- thanks! Needless to say your process is working!

I'm really glad we're getting this history as you envision it-- as you say, there are way too many ways in which a singular vision can be ruined by "too many cooks."
Thanks!

Something I think is a nice touch: young Logan's speech sounds formal to us, but that's how people spoke back then. There was a lot more attention paid to speaking properly, if one was brought up well, and it shows in how he speaks as opposed to Sabretooth's more crude way of speaking.
