Until he sets up shop in a welded-together mass of Sentinels…••• Oooo—so close!

I wasn't familiar with "The Lady or the Tiger", but a quick Google has me up to speed!
Very pleased to have no ideas as to what Charles and Scott are discussing in the final panel... although I have to say I expect trouble! (But it wouldn't be comics otherwise would it?)
Question: where is Jahf? I don't see him on the last page... which doesn't mean he isn't there, but...
I have to say I've become quite attached to the little guy, much more that I would ever have expected, and will miss him if that is the last we see of him!

I hope the joke I made didn't go astray-- I'd really hoped to be funny with that "until"...

It's the little things I love, like Scott pulling off his visor and putting on his glasses in the last two panels. Such a minor detail, but it adds so much life to the art. I love this series.
Thanks!!!

Man, what a fun wrap up to that storyline! JB, you continue to knock it out of the park. This series is the only "real" X-Men series currently being published, in my opinion. The characters are recognizable, things feel familiar, plenty of surprises and it's just plain fun to read!

A mansion was fun while it lasted, but it is also a bit of an old trope going back to Bruce Wayne (at least). The most outlandish secret HQ I can think of was Tracy Island in Thunderbirds, and yet so many kids wanted the playset or the build your own with toilet roll centers, yogurt containers and paper-machie. Best ever might be the Doctor Who Tardis. No doubt lots of space for a music room and a comic library in there!
I was recently reading 1989-90 Avengers where they are having HQ trouble... that tropical island business could've been inspired by Tracy island, and was well written-out... and for awhile they were operating a bit like these X-Men from the basement of their not longer there mansion. My least favorite types of HQ are caves... other than the Batcave; it just seems bizarre to see the most powerful people meeting in some dingy cave someplace, at least as ignominious as that early upside-down rocket Super Hero Club House for the Legion.
Muir Island is great to have around for fall back, but wherever the good mutants locate I expect it will be interesting. :^)

Who said they were relocating? I’m sure the Professor means: “let’s just kill all our enemies!” 😱😱😂😂

Would be neat to see what the alt-X-Men's world does when Galactus comes calling, given the heroes that are left.

Always loved that scene from UXM - I forget which issue - when the Shi’ar bridge officer reports that this planet has successfully beaten back Galactus twice in recent years and the ship’s captain orders an immediate retreat.
