Characters with wings are a pain in group shots. They mostly have to stand at the back!

*****

That would make for a funny 'graduation' photo for the original team- Warren in the front, wings proudly open (unintentionally), covering everyone else's faces.

I’m still debating which Magneto this is. I thought I had it figured out, but someone gave me an alternate theory that works too.

"I've always wondered what blue Archangel would look like had you drawn him."

For some reason, I love that Scott is on a first name basis with this version of Wanda despite his having just met her.

In a battle, there's rarely time for pleasantries and politeness - especially if one has seen one's doppleganger's head crushed. And Scott is naught if not an active and effective team leader, no matter what the team.

The fourth and fifth panel of today's page do a wondrous job of conveying a sense of lifting off and flying high, high above it all. That's what super-hero comics are all about! Same kind of feeling I got from the Richard Donner Superman film.

The fourth panel gets so much out of only a little: it's not a large panel and one of the figures is not much more than a dot, yet it communicates the scale of the distance between them so wonderfully. Great stuff!

Yes! Very much so. Good memories. Still, wish they'd given him a cape.
Maybe a lenticular square secret shield could be in the offing (a reference to the toys, not speculation!!!).

The writer really detested that whole Archangel plotline, so of course the character was not included.
