That first panel today is stunning. The detail in the debris, all the characters in that panel, fantastic.
JB, do you draw the characters first and then the debris fills in or do you complete the back ground and then overlay the characters?

With everything that's going on, I'm surprised to find myself still thinking about Storm and where you're going to take her visually, JB. There's something about Ororo's current, temporary look that resonates with me.

I love the way you draw every single one of these characters. Two stand out especially to me.

Magneto - even sans cape - has an imperiousness that I could slice and feed to the cat. He radiates superiority (complex) and power, and - well damn me for prophesying - the Magneto - Mutants fight is going to be AWESOME, whenever we see one.

And Angel... good GOD sir, can you not draw him majestic and stunning? I hope not. I wish you had drawn Hawkman far more than you did - Joe Kubert and Murphy Anderson must have been jealous bells all over. YOUR ART makes me wonder if facing the Hawk - or the Angel - really WOULD be more of a threat than facing the Flash!

I hope to see more of your work on Angel and Iceman... here they are, and perhaps you'll decide they deserve a chapter a la Nightcrawler and Wolverine. There is so much story in those two, and your handling is simply the supreme on them.

Now I must wait until Monday to see the results of M-Clops actions against Magneto... I suffer I tell you, I SUFFER! :)

I’m also finding this, somewhat surprising in an outfit that was really intended only as a placeholder.

Hmmm........

As a big fan of Cyclops, I love that last panel.

Count me among the supporters of the new look for Storm. It seem like it "fits" her. I say keep it around for a bit.

Oh, Wallace! Can you not imagine the flak I would catch if I kept the only Black character permanently barefoot?

Really lovely powerful page today! Thank you.

I especially feel Xavier's courage as he faces all-comers lying on the ground.
