ITEM: James Johnson: "I'm getting a JRjr vibe from Kurt and that device."
I'm getting a John Byrne vibe. A) Why would I look for someone else's version, and B) I'm not much of a JRjr fan. However, I know a lot are, so YMMV.
ITEM: "Pahk the Blackbihrd in the Hahvahd Yahd." I'm dying here! :D :D :D
ITEM: Magneto saved Kurt from those villagers, I conclude. Fascinating.
ITEM: I blew it. I thought Magneto captured Doom, who had lost his edge because the FF perished and didn't keep him sharply honed.
Oh, how I am enjoying this series entire!

Eric - JRjr is not what I'm looking for. It's what I saw from that first panel.

Hey, didn't Chris put in a line somewhere that Kurt teleports along Earth's magnetic lines? Would definitely explain Magneto's ability to mess with Kurt's teleporting

I thought that was how Guardian's 'teleporting' worked.

I thought that was how Guardian's 'teleporting' worked.------------------------------------------- Guardian uses an electromagnetic pulse to keep himself stationary while the Earth turns under him, thereby travelling a thousand miles an hour west, giving him the effect of a teleport

Understood. But I thought there was something in there about it occurring along the Earth's magnetic lines. Couldn't swear to it, though- I'm working from memory here.

Nice to see at least 'one version' of Kurt in costume! :-)
I'm fearing for our fuzzy friend who's been having a particularly rough time of it in these pages... :-(

I wonder how teleporting along the Earth’s magnetic lines ties in with passing thru a parallel dimension?

I am ALWAYS amazed at your ability to flesh out a scene with relatively the same amount of detail to the background and characters from foreground to background. Just blows my mind constantly.
Do your small panels that feature lots of stuff going on start as BIGGER drawings...and then get reduced to fit the page as needed?

From the Handbook of the Marvel Universe:
"It is easier for him to teleport between north and south (along Earth's magnetic lines of force) than is it for him to teleport between east and west (against them)...a distance of about 2 miles east-to-west, and up to 3 miles north-to-south"
Hey, since that comes from the Handbook, maybe Nightcrawler teleports through CYCLOPS' OPTIC BLASTS' DIMENSION!!!
It all comes together now!
