Prof X and all the X-men speaking with a thick Boston accent! Ha!
Everything old is suddenly new again! (I'm going to reread every issue.)

Also, is it me or is watching Pietro always near or having his arm around Wanda getting very weird?I know he's protective of his sister, but it's creepy. •• I'd say that's definitely an "eye of the beholder" situation, James.

"Ya mutants... from Bah-stun!"(Sorry, that Sam Adams commercial immediately came to mind.)
I like how Kurt is trapped in those magnetized loops, so no matter where he goes, he's locked against something immediately. And it's true, there are a lot of differences here-- I appreciate the attention to detail and thoughtful world-building that went into this!

Nightcrawler can't catch a break in the ELSEWHEN-verse - even Alt-Crawler gets the crap kicked out of him!
That first page reminds me that Alt-Doctor Doom is still active in the Magneto-dimension. Hopefully he comes after these guys for taking out Reed.
Basically, I'm just hoping for a Doctor Doom ELSEWHEN appearance at some point!

Why would Doom attack Magneto for taking out Reed? By his lights, if Reed had been smarter and stronger, Magneto would have failed.

Me after pages 1 and 2: well at least JB’s not planning anything really dark, like alt-Reed laboring under duress on the completion of an Alt-Gate.
Me today: but this might be darker ...

Andrew - because in Doom's eyes (IMO), he sees Reed as his property. Probably why he keeps losing!

Hm. Maybe, but I suspect Doom would also weigh the pros and cons of taking direct action. So far, it's been in his interest to have Magneto erase those troublesome American superheroes. If they turn their attention toward Latveria, however... I imagine he has prepared to deal with them.

Ha! “Remember when Magneto was on the verge of ruling the world, then got greedy and lost it all in that Alt-Gate fiasco?”
