Add me to the list of being mindblown from that first panel foliage and last panel brilliance.

Mr. Byrne, NO ONE draws squirrel hands the way you do.
But with enough background and supporting scenery to make it a beauty of achievement also makes it a happy making page. Well, 'cept maybe that last panel.
Make mine Marvel/Byrne... until, at least, Mr. Byrne creates a super mutant dog who can fly, shoot heat vision beams, and is invulnerable.
Then I'm crawling to worship at your feet (mind the sticky spots.)

What a fun, strange, unexpected little interlude. Thank you for your service, Squirrelly.

Oh, man! Something about the newest page was scratching away, all day, at a memory cell in the back of my mind today--both text and image--and I just remembered what it was. I really hope I'm right about where the squirrel story is taking us!

What a way to end the 20th issue (and our week)! The heads of the science officer and Empress Lilandra on today's page look so perfectly rendered as they are that I'm hard-pressed to think of an inker I'd trust with these pencils other than JB himself.
Maybe Mark Farmer...

Gonna be a long dry spell, but I hope JB will have the chance to enjoy this hiatus. I'll be getting my second Pfizer shot on the 1st, myself, so I have ONE thing to look forward to next week! :-D

…I hope JB will have the chance to enjoy this hiatus.•• No "hiatus". I start these "issues" on the first Monday of each month. Sometimes that's almost immediately after the previous issue, sometimes there is a gap. Calendars, am I right? But I will be working each day, as usual, hopefully pulling a little bit further ahead.

Ah, the gap. What a pleasant way to be spoiled.
Twenty issues. Already longer than most current creative teams that promised the "bold new direction".
Thanks again JB!
