but nevertheless casting a long shadow.

all I want to know is,

Is Alt-Magneto so evil that he too created a Nanny-bot to haunt everyone's nightmares?

And,

Did it ALSO have a french maid's outfit?

So now Magneto’s my age? Dammit! I’m already older than Batman
and Superman!

Richard: "...Is Alt-Magneto so evil that he too created a Nanny-bot to haunt everyone's nightmares? ..."

Magneto, in the Marvel comics before "Uncanny X-Men" #150, was an evil bastard before AND after being regressed to infancy by the mutant Alpha, and after being restored. So, I would think Alt-Magneto would be equally evil.

The final panel is an amazing thing to look at. The gun is so well realised and then the perspective of Vok's hand reaching towards it and his body disappearing sharply away -- really pops.

I was more pointing to the fact that it takes quite a twisted mind to trap your enemies and then torture them with a french maid Nanny-bot.  That was quite the well thought out plan.  As a kid, I remember being so overwhelmed with what was being done to the team that I didn't even consider if Magneto had any end goal or not.

The image of Nanny-bot force feeding brown soup is burned into my mind

Nanny-bot was a definitely a demeaning way to torture the team.

There did seem to be a trend in the 1960/70's to have these villains that were charismatic but wrong-headed visionaries. Was that Manson's effect, or just the general over abundance of exploitative gurus?

Perhaps some of that leaked into the Savage Land Magneto.
