I just remembered... There are a couple of colorful mutants who have not yet joined the fight.

No additional cast members showing up from this point, Wallace. It trembles upon the verge of ponderous and unwieldy as is!

Off topic, but man, Dave Cockrum on his first go around with the X-Men drew an absolutely beautiful Storm.

Or did you mean Wanda and Pietro, Wallace?

(Side note: I learned to pronounce Quicksilver’s real name as P-EH-TRO, which I understood to be the correct European way. Years later I worked briefly with a writer who pronounced it PIE-TRO, like throwing a pie, and wrong as it sounds to me, I haven’t been able to get rid of it since.)

PIE-TRO had never occurred to me.

JB: “Starcore uniform”. Not STAR TREK, not costume. Quite simple if we actually READ THE WORDS.

Yes, but that is clearly what they wear on Star Trek, complete with the rickrack trim on the cuffs. Surely the intent of the artist is far more important than the silly words of the writer?

Yes. (Though whether they show up or not, I am sure what comes next will surpass my expectations.)

In the original newsprint comics the Star Core uniforms didn't look gaudy as they might on bright white higher quality paper.

More of a greyish blue.

The passive-aggression is strong with this one.

Wow -the thing with the unstable molecules and Storm’s costume is something I totally forgot about.  Funny how the memory plays tricks sometimes as I can remember some things rather clearly.  I guess it’s what impacted you most that sticks with you...
