ITEM: It's amazing that the Shi'ar can fully restore (so they believe) Lilandra, but wouldn't try to help Jean Grey in the same manner. The Majestrix lover and companion held that girl in as high an estimation as his own daughter - but they left her challenged. Seems a little curious to me.---- Eric,
I believe the process used on Lilandra would not work on Jean since the Phoenix was not Jean. They could make a body that looked like her, but only approximate her mind.

I am imagining a Shiar "Judge Dredd" waiting for Lilandra to be resurrected. "She needs to serve a life sentence for the devastation she caused! Death is no excuse!"

There’s a false equivalency here. The method used to resurrect Lilandra is totally different from the method used to remove Phoenix from “Jean”.

For those hoping Mr. Byrne 'fixes' Kitty and Logan since they are ones he likes, just remember what he has done to other characters he likes. Poor Wanda was royally messed up (of course future writers made that a bigger quagmire).
Ah well. Makes for fun stories. As to Lilandra I figure it is a case of them knowing her biology a heck of a lot better than human biology. Jean should be thankful her clothes weren't merged with her body.

Speaking of pain – Bad Bobby is a piece of work. Curious to see how Storm handles this!

Bobby Drake is often underestimated, and he shouldn't be. He's one of the most dangerous X-Men. An "evil twin" version of Iceman might have the power to take on a whole team by himself.

Many costumes have been redesigned.
Some, work incredibly well, say Wolverine's brown costume.
Some, shouldn't have been touched in the first place.
Storm's is without doubt, the latter
