I think you may be thinking of the jamming device they assembled (from parts that Kate smuggled in) to neutralize the power-dampening collars they had to wear. Once they were free of the collars and Rachel could use her powers again, I believe she did everything else on her own.

@Matt: If you drew those panels for your WHAT IF? as a teenager, that's very impressive.

Matt: Thanks for sharing those pages. That's pretty cool. Love the signature and that you dated it as well.

Wonderful way to start the day with this page.
The X-Men always seem to have their hands full.
And I would like to add to Wallace's Uh Oh with a huge "YIKES!"

@Matt: Wow, that's pretty good stuff. Apologies if I've missed it, but have you done more recent stuff?

In Gladiator’s defence, a substantial rebuild is already needed.
Love the hint on page 11 for an obvious reveal on page 12, but I have a feeling it isn’t quite what we are led to believe. Looking forward to tomorrow’s alternate reality character.

Steven and Michael, thanks. Yeah, I dated pretty much all my signed art every since I was a youngster, as far back as 1979. Steven, I was around 16 to 17 years old when I drew those pages.
About today's ELSEWHEN page: Seeing Gladiator erupt from the earth carrying that globe is quite a sight!!

@Matt: Wow. 17! JB's influence is clearly evident.
The feminine waist-pelvis-hip connection is an eternal enigma so few (other than The Man himself) seem to understand---but I'll assume without proof that you've made great strides in the decades since.
The rendering of the earthen-ball is quite nice in today's page. Yet another example of JB's stylistic strengths. (I wonder where Gladiator is taking it.)
@JB: Have you ever considered a virtual "art school" where you look at students' work and critique it?

Well, that answers my unspoken question as to whether or not Gladiator would be able to help the team defeat the M-Men.
Instead of "The Cat from Outer Space" we get Space Kitty in this timeline. And just when we were close to having the whole team back together again. Well, except for Wolverine's cognitive function.
