LOL I just got it!
BTW - Looking at the calendar, I notice except for the first two days in April, we are going to have a page every weekday from now through May. Yea!

Curious why they would be rescuing Lilandra, and from whom? Didn’t she destroy much of their team and the home world before coming to Earth? Perhaps they see her as separate from the Phoenix entity. (Which she is).

Mark M - The I.G. are sworn to protect and defend Lilandra. Having seen that the Phoenix entity can be separated and captured, I think they would be bound and determined to pull the same trick the X-Men did. The X-Men did it for love; I see the I.G. doing it for duty.

JB, I think a number of readers were startled (but then saw what you were saying) when you called Sue Storm the most powerful member of the FF.
Is there one member of the X-Men who is likewise "the most powerful" but readers might not suspect it? My assumption is that the strongest members of the team are evident--but you may have a different opinion.

When I first encountered the FF, I thought Ben was the most powerful, with Johnny, Reed and Sue following in that order. The order flipped for me during JB's run.

There's always (almost) an edge for characters who can strike from a distance, like Sue. In the X-Men, that ability is represented by Scott and Jean (if we don't count Xavier), with Jean having an advantage since she can mess with people's heads.

OK JB, you got me again : Jean's face, beautiful, is not (for obvious reasons) a child's one anymore.
And Oracle's headshot is...just perfect.

(Which she is).•• The scenario here is much like someone who gets drunk, gets into a car, and kills somebody. The death may not have been intentional, but getting drunk, and especially driving drunk, was. So, altho Lilandra was possessed by the Phoenix, that possession was a direct result of her deliberate actions. Something the Shi'ar would need to consider, if they successfully "rescue" her.

JB,
Would Ororo fall into this category?
