So yesterday I was glad page 9 came on Thursday because it was such a page turner, but now that page 10 is here I am prepared to loathe the weekend to see what page 11 brings. Nice to see Oracle was covering additional bases. The air crackling with energy could mean a few things, but time will tell what is actually causing it.

We already know, don't we? Isn't it Oracle digging deeper into the minds of the people there?

Love the facial expressions! This is one area of many in particular where you excell, JB, especially in ELSEWHEN.  I take time when looking at each page to marvel at such details.

Wallace, we don't know what has Oracle aghast. That is what I meant.

I'm thinking she's "aghast" at what she's discovered with her deep probe.

Speculating is part of the fun tho!

Thanks!

Even in the long ago days when it was a legitimate complaint that “all [my] faces look the same” I took pains to ensure as wide a range as possible of expressions—not always with resounding success!

That's what I thought. (I'm applying "the simplest answer is usually the right one" logic, but could certainly be wrong.)

I love the page-a-day schedule. As others have said, it's something to look forward to each day.

I can read them again as complete issues when they're done.

Best of both worlds.

Yes, what she discovers has Oracle shocked. We don't yet know what that is and that is what makes the weekend loathsome. Speculating is fun, but keeping it to ourselves is the main thing.

But that's not...

Never mind.

Excellent page. The art looks wonderful and the story reads well. Love the shadow that really sells how Oracle is floating in the air and the various details of the apartment -- the sideboard, the couch, the lamp and table all depicted very convincingly.
