How do I know this is the real _______ in X-Men might go back to the whole Changeling replacing Professor X for #42. Now we have the real Jean Grey back it's the Imperial Guard who'll be the ones to find out they had something else by her name and face before. I'm glad this sort of thing doesn't go on in real life, but it can make for interesting comics! Philip K. Dick was pretty deep into that mind-bending well... and there is a replicant version of him to amaze us: https://youtu.be/sJ930zzYxl8

Speaking of kisses, here's a typical Chris moment that furrowed my brow:Of course! Seeing a blue furred, spike tailed, pointy eared monster with deformed hands and feet and glowing eyes, Aurora would think "elf".

Especially if Dave originally created him to be a demon (which he did for the Legion IIRC).
Regardless, does anybody know if this was the first time he was called or referred to as an elf (fuzzy elf)?

I'm getting an Alpha Flight #12 vibe from Thursday's page.

...
This may be the first, one of Lang's X-Sentinels in X-Men #100
BTW, beautiful pose by Cockrum on Kurt, and the motion line on the tip of his tail, nice touch. Don't remember that!

“Elf” was in use long before I came aboard. Didn’t like it.

Wow, now that is an action page. Every panel makes you feel the action going on - don't need a movie, this feels like it is alive. Unlike movies cutting from one part of the room to another can be done instantly (panel to panel) without feeling disjointed. Kitty's battle could be interesting depending how done, but lets not speculate just enjoy. A battle like this could be done over multiple issues or done in a single panel depending how Mr. Byrne wants to do it.
Loved reading that pages from the future are done already suggesting we have many more months to enjoy. As a single parent enduring at home schooling due to COVID I need something to be fun for just me (and everyone else here).

RE: the panel Doug Centers posted above...anthropomorphic elf? All elves are anthropomorphic.(Well, all elves are humanoid, and anthropomorphic in the sense of being supernatural forces personified.)
I am tempted to invoke the Inigo Montoya Rejoinder against Mr. Claremont: "I do not think it means what you think it means."

Still finding people who want hard copies of this, yet often seeming to be the same who read currently published work on their computers. My head hurts.

YouTubeWell intentioned, I'm sure, but still another accumulation of myths, misquotes, speculation and, courtesy of the Comments, outright lies. (And they really need to look up what "bootleg" means.) And depressing that there are so many people who STILL don't know about this project!
