How fascinating! Kitty can kinda see through things! That seems very natural, but it's wild anyhow!
Anyone have a taste for chopped salad?
Kitty and Cyclops would make a great team, but I really think Cyclops and anyone could make a great team - one of the jobs of a good leader is to make his teammates better at what they do.
But certainly Kitty and Scott could make a fantastic signal system, I think. Scott could let the X-Men where they are by phasing out and shooting his blast right through the wall... and it passing through everything in its path. Unless energy blasts don't react the same as solid matter that's phased... another fascinating direction!

After reading todays page with Wolverine bursting out of his stone clothes I thought 'so now we get stone claws'? Or is adamantium able to avoid being affected by their ray? With no colour it is hard to tell at this point. I guess tomorrow will tell. Always glad to see someone remember that healing factors do nothing for clothing.

OK, TWO things totally got me:
(1) Kitty can move her lips outside of a solid surface and speak. Makes sense. Presumably, she could hide indefinitely in a solid surface so long as her mouth (or maybe a snorkel) was available to the outside world. Or maybe if her mouth intersected a drain line or something....
(2) "Of course his healing factor doesn't work on his costume!" I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought had it done so, but GOOD THINKING!
Otherwise, just an awesome page.

WRT Wolverine's costume shattering, this is because his healing factor caused him to revert to human form before the petrifying ray effect 'wore off' - correct? Thus leaving his clothing still petrified, so when he moves he shatters the thin coating of stone? Had he not woken up, and waited until the effect wore off, we'd be seeing the prior version of this page, posted in the 'Methadone' thread - with threads intact?

Yes. Logan’s stone costume was a definite “d’oh” moment for me.
