I think we'll find out what happened to several of the Imperial Guard very soon.

Beautiful comic book pages yesterday!
Oracle is spectacular and frightening at the same time! Love the domestic stuff also, Jean turning the knob with her foot is perfect.

Seen thru these old eyes, that Oracle splash comes the closest to looking like something I might have drawn in 1980--on a "Damn I'm Good" day, anyway!!

Funny you say that. I had a similar subconscious thought about that, thinking that it resembled your approach to, well, robotics at the time. And then I thought of your 'Galatea' drawing* in The Art Of John Byrne!
*BTW, did you ever have thoughts of developing the character someplace?

Even the cartoon on the TV screen seems to be reacting to Jean's situation! LOL!
Another great page!

Got to say, I really do prefer Jean with the "open" hair. Another excellent page today. I love the tv character's "reaction"!

What a way to end the week! Today's page is another winner, JB! I love seeing those perspective lines, and appreciate those little details (like the cartoon character on the screen) you included.
I'm not even going to get mad at you for leaving us on another one of those page turning cliffhangers!
(Truth be told, I'm a little surprised you didn't add one of those transition captions at the bottom right of the page indicating that you'd be taking us to a different scene on Monday!)

I'm trying to remember - have we ever seen a JB story where every page was a cliffhanger AND transitioned to another part of the story? Like a "22 short stories about Springfield" situation?
