Is there any way to view #1-#4? I can’t get them to show.

You need to change the date range of the forum.

The first issue of ELSEWHEN was such a wonderful reading experience - it felt like one of the X-Men commissions we have been looking at over the years had suddenly exploded into a real comic book. I trust your instincts on what to do, but I hope you keep it as is. But be forewarned that if you do delete it, then it is sure to become a collector's item and the price is sure to double, even triple!
I'm really loving the character dynamics you are creating here, JB - these are the kind of scenes that define your work at Marvel to me. I know you are known for your exploding worlds, but I think the characters' exploding emotions are your secret weapon.

I personally find the first issue delightful and better at presenting Kitty's "first adventure" to me, in uniform, having a problem with Kurt, being uncomfortably new to the team and exploring her own powers in ways that I find better than the similar examples in the second issue. I like Kitty having the idea of how to defeat the Sentinel by remembering what happened with Modok.
I also admire Scott for jumping right back in the saddle and heading off to the Savage land right after their adventure on the moon. I'm sure Chris Claremont would have wanted a "breather," but there's a giant gap implied between the end of Untold Phoenix and this Savage Land trip. The "breather" took place somewhere in there.
As this series has come along, getting more and more engrossing, I've only grown in my affection for the first issue.

I'm a big fan of the first issue. It was like getting the Kitty back that I first met. Plus we got some Scott and Kitty interaction. It was tough to see her bond with all of the other X-Men and I'd missed Cyclops sending her on a mission in X-Men #131.

I woke up with a sinus headache today. Then received news of a problem at work. Mornings like this are tempered by knowing there is a new page of Elsewhen to read, and more interesting commentary. I will spend the gap happily re-reading the series.
Thanks again JB!

Not Super-bulk Summers. Not Scrawny Summers. Slim Summers.
Being able to draw various body types for the characters adds to the reading experience.

Beautiful page today -all the faces and emotions are flawless. It's wonderful for me to see that exchange with Scott and Charles, and it had just the right tone that also hinted at how Charles must feel about Lilandra's apparent fate. It occurs to me how tough it would be for Charles -I mean who can he turn to for solace? As the father/authority figure, it probably couldn't be his students. Only Moira really comes to mind. Maybe somewhere off screen (or on), who knows- except JB, that has or will happen...

Sarcasm! I made a comment on it yesterday, and Professor X addressed it today. Made me chuckle a bit.

Hm. Looking again at today's page, and recalling days gone by, it occurs to me that Teri's shirt, in panel four, is just WAITING to be colored as her wrist.
Can't count the number of times something like that happened. (Tho rarely if ever with Glynis, happily!)
