Love the latest page - are they out on Peter Corbeau’s boat again?!? Xavier must have some kind of timeshare deal going!

One thing I love about this series is the way it connects the X-Men with the rest of the Marvel Universe, which is something that Claremont seemed to pull away from after JB left.封 In Chris' defense (!!), as the X-Men gained popularity, more and more writers wanted to use them, often without clearing that use with the X-Office. To "protect" the characters and his storylines, Chris did the best he could to separate them from the mainstream of the MU.
----
Interesting that this separation led them down a decidedly darker path.

“Darker” was the New! Original! Idea! in those days. A rabbit hole we all went down.

My issue with computer colouring is overly shiny skin - especially boobs for some reason.

Even though the Sub-Mariner I first "met" wore those heavy metal bracelets, I hope JB finds a way to get rid of them again. The visuals for a swimmer like Namor work better without them.

Metals reflect the color of the metal in the highlight, but plastics reflect the white from a top-coat epoxy layer.
Maybe the early computer colorists forgot that.

Some good news:Page shuffling in the process of getting rid of that subplot has ended up with a different sequence of pages in this issue. So by the time all are posted, there may be 21, not 19!

“there may be 21, not 19“
I predict zero complaints. JB, you are 3-4 issues ahead of your current released pages on Elsewhen and even if this was being printed would you be able to shuffle pages, plot lines, etc. with the same ease?

This thread makes me happy at a time when such things are hard to come by.
