Wasn’t there a story in BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE? Or is that the GOTHAM KNIGHTS entry?
——
The BLACK AND WHITE story was the backup in GOTHAM KNIGHTS #2.

I'd love to have the entire story presented in that order.

Behind the Scenes: I included a GENERATIONS bullet on the first page of that BLACK & WHITE story, and editorial had it removed.

Great Wonder Woman pic. I always liked the eagle on her chest armor better than the "WW"

I did a bit more research on the Forum and found JB's response to someone that the Gotham Knights story should be around 1947, so I'm moving that one. Minor tweak.

I always liked the eagle on her chest armor better than the "WW" •• You know how DC put the yellow circle around the bat symbol on Batman's chest to make it more defensible as a copyright? And inadvertently made it even EASIER to copy? Same with Wonder Woman. The WW was supposed to produce a trademark, but instead............

And today the double-W emblem is some hybrid of the eagle and double-W and as for trademarking? Good luck! It's never drawn the same way twice!

One of my favorite stories for sure, and bittersweet since this was at the end of my reading comics with any regularity. I'm still a little haunted by Joker Jr.'s death trap.
