I guess my biggest problem *IF* they are really meant to be a true 3 way hookup as it were, is it doesn't fit with any past characterizations of Scott and Logan. Are we to believe they were bisexual all along?!?

Even just having Scott and Logan kinda bury the hatchet and agree to be with Jean separately, seems forced if it happens offscreen with no character development leading up to that...

Questions about the process:

1. Is Elsewhens going to be the 13 issues that lead us up to "150" ?
2. Is "150" double sized?
3. Had you remained working with Chris, would Scott and Jean have gotten married and produced Rachel (Were you on board with that idea?)
4. Did you have a different cover planned for 138 before the ending of 137 changed?  (I know there's different framing art, but I was always curious about the cover to the issue)

Mr. Byrne and friends, I created "The X-Triangle" in the main forum for further discussion of that topic.

A trivial technical question: Why is the contrast of pages 02 and 07 different from the other scans? Almost looks inked. Did you use a different type of pencils or paper?

Also, I really like the gray-tone effect on page 15---it really gives a strong sense of looking through a cockpit window. Neat.

I also thought ELSEWHEN might have given us some hint of Logan’s unrequited love for Jean. A scene of Logan feeling sad/grieving over Jean’s mental state might have been powerful?

Are you suggesting we'll get an overly sensitive Logan going forward like Brenden Frasier in Bedazzled? <LOL>

Q for JB:

Have there been many surprises for you in the process of making this new
series?

Far and away the biggest surprise was drawing a single page to scratch an itch and very quickly thereafter finding myself with eight issues drawn!

Yeah, I got a canister here marked "Fantastic Four Itching Powder."

Which I would never, ever use - because you can't force genius. But this series is just so damned much fun. Thanks!
