Speaking of being wrong... I was off the mark about the police officers. I thought they'd turn out to either be working with the sentinels or themselves a new kind of sentinel with human appearance.

Wow -very nice action sequence these last 3 pages. There is a lot of movement throughout.
And talk about famous last words... ugh... that looked painful too...

Just so as not to mislead, Wallace’s suggestion of Sentinels in human form made me think of the Cylons on NuGALACTICA, who, we were told, had “a plan”.

t'would seem a number of you have read far more into that cop saying "it" than I ever intended. Perhaps I should have used "this".Perhaps I will!

Pondering time and ages. As I look at the Beast on the opening pages of this issue, I find myself wondering how old he is. During my run on HIDDEN YEARS I had Hank celebrate his 20th birthday, as that seemed about appropriate to "in screen" time since X-MEN 1. In that issue Bobby was established as being 16, and the others somewhat older. Seemed like maybe Jean was seventeen, Scott and Warren 18, and Hank 19.Funny thing is, count up all the appearances after the book became a reprint title, measured against apparent passage of time in the rest of the Marvel Universe*, and a vague couple of years seemed about right. Which, I estimate, would make Hank still in his early twenties, at this point. Od course, this is all messed up if we take literally Jean's headstone in 138!! ----------------------- *Was that term even in use then?

Interesting. Hank always seemed older than that to me, at least once he turned furry, but that makes sense.

I’m hoping to commission another X-Men piece if the commission list opens again — I’m loving the art on this series

In my perfect Big Two comic book world, any time a character celebrated his/her birthday, it would be the same one celebrated the previous year. (19-year-old Hank would celebrate his 19th birthday over and over again, and since there should be years between birthday stories on any given title...)
