Thanks for another great page, JB. I look forward to discovering which mutants Magneto has “collected” to do his bidding.
I just noticed that you haven’t added the forum site address to the last few pages. I hope that anyone who reposts them includes a link back here.

So, why is he lying to the X-Men about being the one to damage the place? Hmm.

He's a no good rotter that one.
Masterful depiction of Magneto in this issue so far.

I'm excited to see what JB does with a Magneto/New X-Men brawl, having full control this time!

Oh good heavens! THAT is Magneto! And even in black and white, I know there's not a hint of pink in that costume!!!
And good ol' Wolverine. Will he never learn?

I love the little time reference that keeps us in an established continuity (something that some writers don't seems to care about anymore):
Sentinels attack NY and Phoenix is "born" is Christmas
The last battle with Magneto under the Savage Land is just a bit before Christmas (celebrated in Japan with Sunfire)
Kitty vs the Demon is Christmas and must "happen" a couple of months from now where we are now in relation to the printed issues
so Magneto's reference to fighting Scott is perfect!

Always remember, tho, that Christmas should be considered a “topical reference” and not an indication of time passing. It’s in the same category as seasonal references, especially visual. I would usually draw my tales, for instance, to correspond to the seasons in which the issues would be released—which invariably had me drawing winter scenes in the middle of summer. This becomes meaningless, of course, when stories are collected. That can sometimes lead to an adventure seemingly beginning in summer and ending in winter, while for the characters only a few days pass.
