One of my favorite pages so far. Love how we really have to pay attention to see Jean listening (wrong colors would ruin it), then focus on Jean, with tears and shadow, then Kitty asks: "Professor! Isn't there something you can do?" which relates to both situations.

Wait, you drew Wolverine ALL wrong!  Wolverines have long long very pointy ears twice the size of their head.  And they're yellow and blue.

It occurred to me that "Wideawake" could refer to the Sentinel attack, as well as Jean's storyline—as she seems to be coming aware that that there is something wrong going on.

What a splendid treat - arriving back from a week's holiday to find five wonderful new pages of X-Men 'Elsewhen' to devour! :-)

Love that drawing of Alterna-Wolverine. Although he now looks like one of the bad guys. Your use of perspective is awesome

I feel like Kitty is so real again and I love her dressing western style for this trip.

••

Missed this until just now.

One of the things Chris and Dave did with Kitty that I truly LOATHED was giving her a TERRIBLE fashion sense. I mean, WHY? What did it add?

(I hope there was more to it than Dave not wanting to have to think like a teenage girl!)

According to a review I read with Dave Cockrum,  it was the opposite: He figured being a young teen she would have bad fashion sense.
