Sounds cool.

Having a blast, following The All-New, All-Different X-Men again!

(Hey, maybe THAT'S what it could be called, going back to that old designation. I know, you're no longer looking for title names...)

Might have a NEW COKE situation with that. As I recall, after a while Coca-Cola had to change the name, since it wasn't "new" anymore.

Somehow the ALL-OLD, ALL-THE-SAME X-MEN doesn't have quite the same kick to it!

Ha! No, I suppose not.

Well, whatever you're calling it, I'm here to consume it!

The X-Men, not the Coke...

HA!! I got my WOLVERINE moment - not how I imagined it, but clever nonetheless. Nice panel layout showing his claw twisting and the Sentinel's reaction.

-C!

I think Wolverine actually took some enjoyment out of that. {shudder}

Kind of chilling, even though it was a killer robot (both Wolverine's execution and the bit on the previous page as the Sentinel merges with the earth. Horrible!)

I have a pretty harsh attitude toward robots, our Forum mascot notwithstanding.

When Archie Goodwin was the STAR WARS editor at Marvel, he asked if I had an “untold tale” I’d like to do for a single issue. I mentioned an idea that had come to me after seeing the original film: that damaged Artoo, being “just a droid” is stripped of useable parts and shipped off to a robot junkyard planet. Threepio, of course, mounts a rescue. Hilarity/chaos/drama ensues.

It’s strange, but I found myself actually feeling sorry for a Sentinel.
Kitty’s power is surprisingly brutal. Hopefully it’s not going to be used
like this often. Shudder.

" As I recall, after a while Coca-Cola had to change the name, since it wasn't "new" anymore."

...

The outrage that ensued after "New Coke" arrived prompted the company to re-release "Original Coke". Soon after "New Coke" was dropped from the line up.

Anyway, love the pages. Not sure what it is, but am really liking Nightcrawler's look. Maybe a little more gerth than I remember.
You still have that "touch" keeping the whole team involved in a way that makes sense.

New Coke was introduced as a replacement for Coca-Cola. Enough fans of the “old” formula complained that it was brought back as Classic Coke. For a while, this effectively doubled Coca-Cola’s shelf space.

No longer “new”, New Coke became simply Coke, and like an old soldier eventually faded away, leaving Classic Coke as, once more, Coca-Cola.

The whole “failed” business boosted Coca-Cola’s sagging sales, which has even caused some to speculate that it was all along a ploy to do just that.

Coca-Cola denies this.
