I like how the window panels form "X"'s in the reflection in Scott's glasses. Also, Professor Xavier's face in close up on the second page posted today was particularly good.

This toy isn't supposed to fly. So judgemental!
Nice to have a double helping today.
Who inked the Professor's chair? :)

Theoretically, The "lobotomy" should have removed Jean's powers, right? So the fact that she's making something fly...!

Unless the "lobotomy" only removed the Phoenix aspect, leaving Jean with only her original mutant power?

I compare "This toy isn't supposed to fly" to a panel from Fantastic Four with a toy rocket, labeled "This is not a flying toy."
The comparison may be too coincidental. On the other hand... maybe a grown up Franklin Richards might be able to deal with Phoenix on a relatively even field.
I don't know who said it, but I believe it's entirely correct that this art needs no inking. It's just GRAND as is!

Excellent pages - these quieter moments with Jean and her family are emotional and poignant.

Is Sara worried Jean might be a bad influence on the kids? I'm remembering old stories of kids jumping off garage roofs wearing a towel from watching '50s Superman tv shows. If Jean starts just bringing the salt to her at the table will one of her sister's kids get the idea to throw things at the table? How does a 'normal' human family get used to having a mutant in the house again?
My mind works in some very mundane ways sometimes, sorry. :^|

No, that does make sense. When Jean comes back to see her family in X-men 136, Sara is definitely worried about her kids being mutants...
