I love the camera shots on this - 1st panel above ceiling beam, 2nd worm's eye view, 3rd close-up, 4th wide shot, 5th behind the action, 6th full action panel. Pure artistry!


*Edited to tweak the inks a bit for things that were bugging me!

Another enjoyable, fun time spent inking this page. So amazing as your pour over the pencils looking at all the details John used to put in to his pencils. Amazing.

In this case, Steven, it's the quality of the pencils that make the inking look any good at all. (Not fishing for 'oh no Darren you are amazing!' Just that when there are outstanding skills already inherent in the pencils---there is a lensing effect that give the inks a boost;)

I was trying to 'zen out' while going through the grass....my brain wasn't catching on. Maybe I'm not zen enough :D

Those inks are amazing, Darren! I love the white hatching into the black hatching.
