Nice work, Paul. About the limitations of the tablet, maybe there's something you overlooked in the settings? Have you looked online to see if there are any tutorials on how the get the effect of line you are looking for? It would suck to have a new tablet and not be able to get a fine line.

Thank you, Matt!Yeah, I have to do a bit more research with this tool. This is not a very high-end tablet so I'm not sure how many advantages it has. There are pros/cons for me with a tablet vs ink/paper. The quickness and ease of fixing mistakes, and effects are nice. I like how the 'SPOK' panel energy blast turned out. I might have to try my hand on it again with another page later.

Just a quick work in progress, but I am very happy with the results of this panel of Cyclops and Storm. Just a small sliver of an image, but I actually achieved some depth with it! Every panel should have a fore, middle and background, but that can be tough sometimes.

Mark, thanks for the kinds words. It has taken a long time, but practice, practice, practice. If we ever get back to comic book conventions I will be giving away my Elsewhen inked pages to JBF members that find me at the cons. Not ready to take requests yet. =)

I may have to go back to that DPS on issue one and try again. Feeling more confident after a year.
