LOL! So true, Wayne. Keeping my hopes high, a fresh take on the Superman mythos. They're not reimagining characters with organic crap, or exploding frog chambers but expanding the universe of what we know. It's like a comic book, I can't wait for this film.

James, it's an expansion of the universe-- in the comics they are married and in JB's generations it was plausible. I think there were books that had Superman with a family? I could be wrong, but good point.

I hate universes. I'd rather have stories.

Well, you see, it's like this. Kryptonians only have one nipple. And it's shapped like an S emblem with pentagonal border.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

Small semantics. I love JB's huge S like all of us, but I don't think this will ruin the movie for me.

It won't "ruin" the movie for me. In fact, I have a feeling that this may be the least shitty of the upcoming comic book movies! (Possibly tied with Batman Begins)

I'm hoping Zod and his 2 kryptonian fugitives return for this film, possibly do away with them like how JB did in Superman.

You know what? Somehow I missed the Superman Returns Costume thread. Apparantly, LOTS of us feel that way about the emblem!

I think it's cool there is so much interest in the Superman film, 2006 will be a good year for the Man of Steel. The costume is an updated based upon the material that made the spiderman costume revolutionary. It'll work for the film.
