This is fantastic news! I have a a lot of this, but missing some stuf. It will be great to have it all in one book. The recent MARVEL UNIVERSE BY JOHN BYRNE is a gold mine.
Glad to see DC issuing this. GREEN LANTERN: GANTHET'S TALE alone is worth the price of admission.
I hope FOURTH WORLD is next!!!

Doesn't surprise me JB. Your Marvel Omnibuses are clearly selling well so DC are playing catch up. I wonder if your entire Superman run will be Omnibused now that the trades are finally gettting there.

An unusual collection, but if it's DC and JB I'm in. Now really hoping for a Generations Omnibus

BATMAN 3D's omission is criminal.
If they don't have the unmodified line art on file, and keep in mind it's a book from 25 years ago, that's a big obstacle in reprinting it. I'd love to see it in the non-3D version, but you'd need that line art, and DC would also have to decide whether or not to color the story. It's a lot more restoration work than you'd have with a typical graphic novel.

Where the DC movie universe is heading, they just might release a collected edition.

Untold Legend Of Batman #1, New Teen Titans Annual #2, Outsiders #11, Green Lantern Annual #3, Secret Origins Annual #1, World Of Smallville #1-4, Superman Annual #2, World Of Metropolis #1-4, Power Of The Atom #6, Christmas With Super Heroes #2, Green Lantern: Ganthet’s Tale #1, The Flash 80-page Giant #1, Batman: Gotham Knights #2, Dc Comics Presents: Hawkman #1, DCU Brave New World #1 And DCU Infinite Holiday Special #1---------- Just looking at the contents, I think they meant Adventures of Superman Annual #2. Superman Annual #2 was in the Man of Steel TPBs.
I did notice some omissions (art-wise, they have typically skipped writing only or inks only in these collections).
Action Comics Annual #6 40 pgs Batman Adventures Annual #1 10 pgs (I know it was included in an animated TPB; but this would be a great place for it as well.) Speed Force #1 10 pgs Flash 80-Page Giant #1 10 pgs Hawkman #26 22 pgs JLA Secret Files 2004 #1 22 pgs

Really cool they are collecting these. Didn't someone just mention something like this in a recent thread?
Dave, the Flash 80 Page Giant story is in there according to the article. Not sure why they wouldn't include the other stuff, although likely some of it has been collected elsewhere.
Edit: Found it. It was Jan in the recent Collecting JB thread.

Just saw this listed on Amazon. December release? That's out there. Y'know, there's an old joke that says if you've had a whole string of bad roommates, maybe YOU'RE the bad roommate. I think of this when I look at this collection (and others) and find that virtually every story has a shadow on it. Something that went wrong, and caused me to enjoy the job far less than I should have. Am I the "bad roommate"? I almost wish it was that simple.
