If he proposed going back to slavery, I wouldn’t be surprised.

See, on non-bizarro world, you would think that a president would make
that trip, on that date, to carry out some act that would acknowledge the
horrors of the past & especially what happened in Tulsa.

With Trump, what you suggest Brian, seems a real possibility.

I would definitely expect him to use the rhetoric of protecting
Confederate monuments/statues etc, as a central pillar of his speech.
Which is just ....

I guess we'll never get to the working around and ignoring the joke president stage I'd like to see... every f-ing thought of so many seems to revolve around him and imagining what he could do next... let me out! :^(

Rebecca - he’s the President. What he does affects the lives of every
American, & often those who don’t even live there.

He can’t be ignored.

In my country we are currently debating the fact that the government
has watered down the agricultural bill so that there is now a real
possibility we will ave to accept beef containing hormones & chlorine
washed chicken.

These are things Trump wants us to accept.

I would dearly love to ignore him, but I’m pretty sure that type of
thinking led to far worse things in the past when they had been ignored
for too long.
No, I won’t be ignoring him, not until he is out, & probably his legacy will
mean I won’t be able to ignore him then either.

Rodrigo, your Rorschach's journal comment gave me a good belly laugh. Well done, sir!

Ha ha, you can't make this stuff up.

If he starts tweeting about dog carcasses on alley he'll have to pay up for copyright.

You're probably right James. I tried to express to some in England not to bank on any kind of wonderful trade deal promises after they are out of the EU (which I have no great feeling about one way or the other), and now I'm really getting to where I feel anyone is pro-Trump at this point is either an unbelievable fool or absolutely the worst sort of crook. I find any woman still for Trump, with anyone told to tiptoe around them lest they be upset particularly loathsome this evening to be totally honest. I honestly never would've believed we, the U.S. and England in particular, could be anywhere near where we are right now. One phony b.s. strong man who kisses NRA ass and Putin ass so openly has helped to make us the bloody weakest in my lifetime easily!

Stupid children who have little real experience but huge mostly unearned victim complexes, maybe even thinking it'd be funny to screw things up. If only they could be the only ones to pay in the end. :^(

I'd still like the media to start asking themselves if they really need to focus so much on each new Trumpian tweet or outrage and maybe prioritize more serious information, even if it lowers ratings or bores some.
