And yet you never criticize, but thanks for allowing others to do so.

Do we really need to go over how honest and forthcoming you are in the wake of your "schools I attended" bullshit? You routinely omit or ignore to suit your point of view and that is very dishonest. However, I know you will continue the fight against the unbridled hatred toward your enlightened and intelligent point of view. Like all supporters you have a terrible cross to haul through life.

But you're moving the goalposts.  The point was about chain link fences not being cages.  All of your other examples are irrelevant because no one was arguing that school was just like being arrested for illegally entering the US.

I'm always curious on this topic what people propose should have been done?  If you have way more detainees than cell space, what would be your solution?

In these discussions I have pointed out a variety of things that I consider Trump's shortcomings.  I have also offered what I have liked.  I have tried to be open to either side.

I just often find that what he is criticized for is extremely exaggerated.

The “Antifa agent” is battling cancer and now is suffering from brain
damage as a result of his “acting job”.

Trump’s vileness knows no bounds. Why can’t he just fucking die,
already?

What WAS Gugino doing?  Even when I first saw the video I wondered what he was doing with his right arm.  I couldn't understand why he got right up on the cops and then started fumbling around near the cop's belt.

And no, I don't consider being detained behind a chain link fence as the same as being in a cage. If that were the case, every school I ever went to growing up was a cage.

I'm not moving any goal post. Simply showing you there are a hell of a lot of reasons that you cannot equate schools you attended as cages other than the fact they both have chain link fences. It is these asinine leaps that are so frequent in your posts that I dislike. The detention centers were cages for many reasons and your school was NOT a cage for many other reasons. The fact you can't bring yourself to make the differentiation because they both have chain link fences is representative of your brittle spirit and dishonesty.

The people behind those fences were prisoners.  Would it be more acceptable to put them in a 4 x 6 cell with steel bars?  I'll ask again, what solution can you offer for these locations that were not equipped to handle that many detainees?   Being guarded in a common area surrounded by chain link doesn't seem that egregious to me.

And let's be honest, this is the type of image that the media is trying to invoke when saying kids are in cages:
