Presidential test: can you work with big numbers. He reads off the number fine, but then he decides to go deeper... and that's when he comes unstuck.

Trump is as "deep" as a petri dish.

And if he does fire Fauci, then he's totally screwed.  Fauci probably won't hold back on his opinion.

If we make it 'til another 20 years' time, they'll be erecting statues to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Meanwhile, vandals will still be attacking King Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame...

I just read Trump said, " I have the ultimate authority” to re-open the country and scale back distancing measures."

"The President of the United States has the authority to do what the President has the authority to do, which is very powerful. The President of the United States calls the shots."

FALSE. Federal power is divided between three branches of government - the legislative, the judicial and the executive.

The president is part of the latter. Moreover, the US is a federal system - where state officials have significant authority.

Trump continues to MELTDOWN.

I thought Trump was looking red in the face under his spray-on tan at that 'thing' today... I noticed both CNN and MSNBC dropped the live feed more than once, CNN didn't show any of his clips of Governors praising him video which you paid for. It started with Fauci eating humble pie and walking back what he said on the weekend trump didn't like as "badly worded". Later I was fantasizing Trump getting really worked up and tantrummy blaming everybody but himself, the hand gestures speeding up until finally he would explode like Monsieur Creosote after one thin mint wafer too many in that Monty Python movie. Splorp! Everyone in attendance filing out looking like they'd been to a mini GWAR show. He only got partly there, no genuine full-on meltdown. Really, the same old act as many other times. I think some people keep watching just in case though.

It's closing in on 1 in 5 recorded deaths are in the U.S. now; "tremendous work"? He kept trying to shift focus to France and Spain etc. I noticed, what I got to see of it, but you passed both of them in the negative a few days back. "Strong"?

Based on that press conference can you imagine how things would have turned out if Trump was POTUS 1939 - 45?

For crying out loud, the man is insane, utterly insane.

I was watching Frost/Nixon last night and the part where
Nixon says if the President does it, it can't be a crime
really resonated with me when I consider what Trump says
and does.

When he gets his comeuppance, and it will come, will he
bounce back or will he be destroyed mentally?

Last night was a shitshow to the highest extreme. There is no way this guy was fit for office to begin with and that press conference just made it even crazier.

I would REALLY love to hear from forum members that support COVID-45 justify his actions from the beginning of this outbreak.

Trump admitted that “Mutiny On The Bounty” was one of his "all-time favorite movies" as he commented about Democratic Governors on Twitter.

Mutiny on the Bounty was about the ruthless, unjust, tyrannical Captain Bligh who shackled his own crew and tortured so many of his own men that they mutinied against him.

It’s amazing that Trump sees himself as that Captain... little terrifying as well.

Trump is making Nixon look like Abe Lincoln.

That is the only way I can phrase this shit storm now.
