To me, it always seemed preposterous that Russian spies were so inept they'd ally with Trump to rig our election. It reminds me of Boris and Natasha, of Rocky and Bullwinkle fame. I live in Wisconsin now, after decades in Los Angeles, and all I saw during 2016 election were Trump signs.

Given this report finds there was no conspiracy with the Trump campaign, was it purely Trump's ego that caused him to try and block the FBI looking into Russian interference?
And "the report sets out evidence on both sides of the question" (word-for-word from Barr's letter) being re-packaged by Thomas as "Mueller does not find obstruction", which he quotes as if it is verbatim, is an example of why as much of this report as can be released should be released (i.e. redact the confidential parts). The public should be able to look at the actual balance of evidence.

My understanding is that much of the campaign finance findings were
redacted, which leave a strong vibe that this isn’t over.
I’m really saddened that the nation has come to the point that it has.

There is, of course, no love lost between myself and President Trump, but all this talk by Congress of dragging Mueller before them to testify and explain himself (re: the report) is really beyond the pale.
Basically, we Democrats have been praising Mueller for almost 2 years, waiting with bated breath for this report, and now plan to excoriate the poor bastard under a barrage of withering, rhetorical questions for not "FINDING" what we "WANTED".

I remain at a loss that anyone can confidently or proudly idebtify
themselves as either republican or Democrat. The two party system
and our nation’s willingness to fall on one side or another is partially
what got us here.

Everything I've seen about getting Mueller to testify struck me more as getting the full details directly from the horse's mouth rather than relying on filtered interpretations. Have I missed something?
I'd agree that Democrats raking Mueller over the coals for not getting to the "right answer" is inappropriate, but I don't see why simply holding a hearing to ask questions directly should be considered a foul.

Forgive my Cassandra doubting the purely altruistic motives of the members of Congress on this issue - I am basing my predictions on the comments and reactions I have seen from members of the House and Senate thus far since this report was released.

Are you confusing Mueller and Attorney General Barr? I've seen negative reactions directed at the latter, but nothing at Mueller or his report.
