"America Will Never Be A Socialist Country" Will America ever not be a socialist country?
Aren't taxes, themselves, a socialist entity? Money is collected from many and redistributed, ostensibly, for the greater good of all.
By extension, then, anything run by a government that's even partially funded by taxpayer money is a socialist program. Welfare. Social Security. Medicare. The military. Government jobs. The Presidency.
Do we really want to eliminate ALL forms of socialism in this country??

While his election is not an accident, it also cannot be said that him taking the presidency was completely without outside influence. His election was completely aided as well by the Democratic party that put forth a candidate many would never vote for. I'm in total agreement that this President was not elected based on some bizarre accident, ---------------------------------------------------- I agree it was not an accident. I agree that there was likely an influence of an outside force. I don't agree that the key issue was an opponent that inherently turned off voters. The numbers say that nearly 3 million more American voted for Hillary Clinton than for Donald Trump. Yet the Electoral College votes needed for a Trump victory in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania were achieved by a margin of fewer than 78,000 votes.
Within that context, I would recommend anyone who has the time to read this article (few months old, but still relevant and pertains to the likelihood of Russian interference via social media swaying voters to any significant degree)

Aren't taxes, themselves, a socialist entity? ------------------------------------------ It depends on what is done with the taxes and the nature of the government that is collecting them. As you mentioned, a democratic government using a taxation system to redistribute economic power is socialist. A government run by corporate lobbyists who use government force to remove economic power from people and redirect it to corporations to further a monopoly on economic power is not. That's a type of capitalism. And that kind of corporate capitalism is basically the economic system of the USA. And it will stay that way as long as all politicians from the only two parties are more beholden to wealthy donors than to the people.

Show me what Trump has "accomplished" in his two years and less than a month in office. I hear this from my Trumper friends ("he's done more in office in two years than any other president in history" a LITERAL quote) that he's accomplished SO MUCH but for the life of me I can't figure out what that is EXCEPT give tax breaks to his rich friends and undo regulation that ::shocking!!:: affects those less fortunate.
Are you saying ANY reduction in government oversight is a good thing regardless of how it affects a population?

If President Trump has done anything good you wouldn't know it from his inability to effectively communicate. His inability to lead shows with the shutdown, including his inane insistence on a (useless) wall.
Take something I agree with: I would like to see our troops leave Syria. The President did such a bad job in announcing this, he had his own people quitting after he said it! Seems to me it would be possible to sit down with your team and get a plan BEFORE you say things like that.
Lousy leadership!

Won't you have reasons to dismiss each and every one of them?
I'll give you some links anyway, some outdated since the Stock market has taken some hits. http://www.magapill.com/

For me, #1 was simply keeping Hillary out of office. Just that one thing has stopped her from doing so much.
#2 appointing 2 supreme court judges instead of Hillary.

There was the passage of Criminal Justice Reform. And he did ban Bump Stocks. Two things I think are accomplishments.
The economy stuff would happen no matter what.
I'm hoping he can bring a lot of our troops home, but that's just a promise right now.

Copy. Gotcha. A conservative court. That's what was important to you. Doesn't matter four years of crap and absolutely horrible governance, at least there are conservatives on the court!

Ah yes. I'll give the Gateway Pundit props ESPECIALLY for their masthead...
A more reputable, unimpeachable, unbiased source I absolutely couldn't find anywhere!

So two of your three "sources", Thomas, are blatant Trump propaganda and The Hill is a known hyper conservative outlet.
Seriously. Those links are what any normal person is supposed to take as an honest expression of faith that this president has accomplished...what? And believe me, I know you hedged your bet. You knew I'd call you on it, which is why you preemptively said I'd dismiss them. But what normal person wouldn't UNLESS they're all about touting numbers and facts that just don't line up?
C'mon on. Stop playing us all for a fool.
