ITEM: Brian Miller: "Could Trump BE more racist?"
It's possible. I think he's going for the high score.

ITEM: It seems inevitable that Trump is heading for a impeachment of epic nature, and also that President Pence is inevitable. I hate that prospect, but I guess I'd rather have it happen before Trump can do too much damage.

Remember the episode of SEINFELD where George keeps doing stupid stuff so he could get fired? I keep thinking Trump's doing the same.

Pence at least knows how to be a bad President
That's what makes him scarier to me.  If you've got a bus driver who's determined to drive the bus over a cliff, I'd rather have an incompetent driver, because he might forget how to work the gearshift or somehow accidentally drive in the wrong direction.

I am so sick of these "Thank You" rallies!  Everytime Trump speaks it is just one ignorant thing after another coming out of his orange pie hole!  He still finds it necessary to bash the media which is just pathetic!  His refusal to believe that Putin was involved in the Democratic email leaks just shows he lives in his own world and the U.S. intelligence knows nothing??

Trump is unqualified to be our President, but on a positive note, Trump has a good business sense and has had years of experience, so...he may do well for our economy??  If he can bring jobs back from Mexico that would be a big deal!  Although, in the process of getting anything accomplished I fear he will piss off many of the World Leaders.

I just fear these next 4 years may severely damage our country and relations with the rest of the world.  I am still hoping these Electoral College voters cast votes for another candidate, it is the right thing to do.  But I doubt this will happen, so many Republicans who were against Trump before are now kissing his ass big time!

Seems to me that the only thing Trump can manage well is trading on
his name. I don't know how that will translate to helping the economy.
But his cabinet choices indicate he is trusting the people who tanked
the economy most recently.

The big driver in the loss of manufacturing jobs is automation, not jobs
moving to Mexico and China. With the rise of labor costs in China,
some Chinese companies are setting up factories in the US, but we're
still talking about a few hundred jobs that were once done by
thousands. There's a potential for a growth in working class jobs in the
renewable energy sector, but Trump seems more interested in helping
out his oil and coal buddies.

If Secretary Clinton had released her electors, I wonder if that could have lead to a coalition of No Trump voters in the EC?  I'd take Cruz at this point.

One of three things is going to happen Monday, Dec. 19th:

1)  Trump is officially elected.  (Most likely.... unfortunately)

2) Electors revolt and opt to go for Clinton.  (Possible, but highly unlikely.)

3)  Electors revolt and opt to go for a different Republican.  (VERY improbable.  And it would be Romney since he lost the previous election and had more votes than Trump currently has.)

There is a possible 4th thing, but I doubt they delay anything because of the Russia hack.  (They SHOULD, but they won't.)

There is no indication that a significant amount of the electors who matter (the Republican ones) will vote for anyone other than Trump.  The likelihood of 37 of them doing it is so unlikely as to be not really worth discussing. At most, what we might see is a small handful of Democratic electors voting for someone else... An empty gesture that will accomplish nothing.

"An empty gesture that will accomplish nothing"

This could be a slogan for so many things that happened during the election.
