I still cannot believe he will be our next President, but trying to give him a chance.  But I am worried he will get us all killed!:(  He has already pissed of China and who knows what the heck will happen with Putin & Russia.

Giving him a chance is like giving the wolf a chance to guard the hen house for you....

It's like asking Lex Luthor to keep an eye on your collection of Kryptonite rings while you're on vacation, except Lex Luthor has suffered a massive head injury.

Trump is using the GOP's playbook--fill government positions with people who hate government, and then when things go wrong, turn around and declare that government doesn't work*.

*Except for our bloated military industrial complex, a branch of government conservatives wholly endorse and embrace. For some reason that particular monstrosity is beyond reproach.

Trump woke up this morning and decided to fire off a tweet about Lockheed-Martin.

He wrote:

The F-35 program and cost is out of control. Billions of dollars can and will be saved on military (and other) purchases after January 20th.

Lockheed Martin is now down 2.8% today, having been down more than 4% in the direct aftermath of the tweet. The market cap has dropped by more than $2 billion dollars.

These fluctuations may prove to be temporary, or Trump may indeed go on to curtail costs at this contractor. However, stirring up stock market volatility and taking off-the-cuff public potshots at US companies seems rather unstatesmanlike.

The "best" part about all this is that years down the line, kids can read in their history books all about when the 45th President body slammed and then shaved the head of the husband of his pick for the leader of the Small Business Administration at Wrestlemania XXIII.

History was never more fun.

Brian Miller, this is what I think about when I hear the words "Trump's Cabinet".

That cabinet of super villains could at least get things done.
And there are at least a half dozen pure geniuses in that bunch.
