Apologies if you've mentioned elsewhere but how was the experience JB?

This weekend is the Boston Comic Convention, which I've never been to and I still won't be going to.
Next weekend is the TerrifiConn: up at the Mohegan Sun (http://www.terrificon.com/), run by a fellow Trumbull resident, Mitch Hallock. I will be going to the Saturday show with my older daughter (my wife is going to the Casinos).
I was able to get two tickets to the Friday NYCC show in October (that was quite an ordeal getting those tickets !!)

TerrifiConn looks like a nice line-up.

I will be at the Wizard World Chicago Con next weekend
helping out an artist friend of mine.

Paul, and to anyone going to WW Chicago this weekend, are there plans for a JBF meet-up/dinner?

Just got back from Wizard World Chicago. It's been a good decade since I was last at a con, and man, the memories just came flooding back. So much fun!

I happened to run into our very own Paul Greer, which was like a little celebrity experience for me! Ended up spending a lot of time at Barry Kitson's table, chatting with him and his rep. Ordered an Adam Warlock full body commission, which he said he will mail to me (I'll post it in the New Art thread once I have it).

One table I passed was selling some premium original comic pages. I made the mistake of asking the seller how much a Jim Starlin WARLOCK page was (from his original run in the 70's). Guy rolled his eyes at me and told me 20K. I quickly stepped away from his tables, lest my breathing on the pages devalued them!

All in all, I had a lot of fun. Might have to go to more in the future!

I'm amazed at how many dealers do the eye roll or react dismissively
about art price inquiries. That is an easy way to ensure that I won't buy
from them.

Yes, there was very little "human" interaction involved. Guy just had dollar signs in his eyes.

I did look at some sweet Kirby FF pages, though. Did not ask him what he had those priced at!

Why would he roll his eyes?  Shouldn't he want people inquiring?
