I know what you mean. That's how I feel about CBS "news," ABC "news,"
CNN "news," MSNBC "news."

You could say that about most the US cable news. I found after watching Canada’s CBC that all the cable news channels seemed pretty right leaning. I thought this was well illustrated with the media push for war. Fox is just the one that takes it beyond a lean and goes for full parody. I like to get my info online these days. The info tends to up a day or two before it hits the tube, and I get follow in detail the stories I want instead of having to sit through stuff I have no interest in.

For all of the up-to-date information on Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson,
Robert Blake, Martha Stewart, the Donald, Paula Abdul hit-and-run, ect. -
tune in to CNN.

That's a full parody.

Fluff or fascism. Fun choice. I think it's a good idea to take it all with a grain of salt and do your own investigating, well as much as you can without actually going to the location of the story.

The thing is two people can look at the same event and get two completely different perspectives, both thinking that their point is made by the factual reality in front of their face. In the end, I think people believe what they want. Therefore, it is pointless for us to even debate as I see fascism and you see truth when Fox is brought up. I think you are being manipulated and you see it as real news and me just being a silly liberal. So next time I see you I will buy the first round and we can talk about collecting.
