You know what the sad part is?  Ann Coulter is going to forcefully promote that image as a newly discovered document proving organized liberal treachery.

uh....Red Sweaters anyone?   Maybe you were confused because your names were at the beginning, but that because I was specifically answering the question that you guys asked.

And, Yes, Eric, that's your greatest post.

When you call us out, in a post like that, it is not a Red Sweater issue.

Mike, I'm not getting what you driving at (not the Red Sweaters part).  I simply don't know / understand what you're talking about if you didn't mean us specifically.  Can you give me an example of sore winnerism apart from the three of us?  I am not afraid to take conservatives to task (see homicide bomber), but I don't get what you're trying to show me.  Who's angry?

What I'm saying is that the cons clearly won.  So, why are they still focusing on the fight?  Move on with your agenda already!  Who cares about the liberal media?  If there is such a thing, it's not huring you guys.  Who cares about bloggers and radio and so on - you still won.  You, personally, James, have a pretty calm posting style, but go scan some of the debates on here - why are some of the cons so mad?  They won.  I don't get it.  The liberal opinion is about as important as the Klingon opinion in America these days.  We're dead.  The war is over.  Why continue to abuse the corpse?

I mean, I guess some are holding out for us to completely renounce our beliefs and salute Bush and all that, but who cares if we do or not?  It won't hurt your cause or help ours, you know?

And, if this doesn't apply to you, if you aren't wearing that red sweater, uh, don't get defensive about it.

This reminds me of the Spongebob conversation re Dr. Dobson; people who aren't her target audience pay her more attention than people who are.

I think the whole sore winner thing is not such a bad idea as the election was a slim, slim victory and 2000 was not even a legit win. To kick back and rest will just allow the other half get an advantage. I think no matter what is said, it is obvious that the right’s grip is not as tight as they want it to be. When the opposition is down to say 15% then perhaps it will be time to admit mistakes and relax a little. Now is not the time to expect anything but overzealous opinion intended to further establish the desired agenda.

The liberal perspective isn't dead-- winning by 3% is not a mandate and the public clearly has problems with some of the current presidential initiatives. Given that that's the case, the conservatives can't really claim that they've made gigantic wins, for all that they control the three branches of government.

However, the Democrats DO have to get stronger positions on things like Social Security and other domestic issues. If they can manage that, they'll be doing well.

It's kind of like the woman who keeps firing the gun at the corpse of her abuser long after she's pumped the whole clip into him; some have been down so long they don't know what up looks like.  Look at all the wimpering back and forth about using the constitutional / nuclear option.  The Democrats can't stop them, but they're still too chicken to do it.
