A problem I have with Coulter besides the fact that she's a horse is that she just lobs insults. She's not funny or witty; the doesn't have any special way with language.  She speaks in ridiculous absolutes ("There is no such thing as a good liberal.")  Her books aren't fun reads (and I've tried to read them, the devil ya know is better than the devil ya don't...), her essays are dreary.  Plus, with her prostrating herself at the altar of McCarthyism, I really find her too out there.

Plus, she has scary hands:

I won't even venture to say which one of those is more stupid.

I think this explains why she seems so childish to me. She stopped forming her intellect at the age of 14.

Does anyone remember when she had that pie thrown at her?

Man, she could run in those high heels, she got off stage in 2 seconds
flat.

Well, Jacob, while they're all insane, at least she's being honest in the second one - there are still a handfull of cons out there clinging to the idea that we had some sort of noble intentions in Iraq.  (Those who haven't read the PNAC, obviously...)

Yeah, I'm 16 and I have a few (small few but still few) different beliefs
than I had two years ago, partially because my knowledge of certain
issues has grown.

First, I said "stupid", though "insane" works too.

But, is it morally ethical to invade your next door neighbor if you're out of
sugar? IMHO the best thing to do is to research fuel alternatives.

This news just broke:

And yet, somehow, Bush still has support.  Oh, well.

Well, Jacob, no, it's not morally ethical, but, see, at least she isn't lying about it, like all the other cons.  So... you know, give her some half-ass cock-eyed credit for screwing up and not repeating the party lie...  I guess.

I get what your saying, she is being honest, I guess I was more
responding to the Ann Coulters out there.

Strikes me that 1) there is a very healthy diversity of opinion here on this board so 2) whatever JBs politics he has not let them influence the stories he has presented in his work - allowing him to have fans from across the political spectrum

That's quite an achievement when you think about it...
