Chris Ryall has sent along a better picture of the award. . . Curious thing that strikes me, except for his NAME I don't get much of a Will Eisner vibe from the design of the award.

Yeah, I would've like to see them produce a design that paid homage to Eisner's art style, like how he would layout his splash pages or something related to the Spirit.

Congratulations on your selection to the Eisner Hall of Fame, Mr. Byrne! And a pretty impressive class to be inducted with as well!
Edit: Reading back through the thread this appears to be a bit of old news that I somehow missed. That's what I get for being out of touch! Nevertheless, however belated my congratulations, a well-deserved honour!
