JD Finn is the only confirmed pseudonym being published by DC.

Didn't you start a thread about people using "that" when they mean "than" just a week or so ago?

Let's see there's, what about 1500 JBF members? JB, I know a
way to increase sales on whatever title you are secretly writing
by about....oh 1500 issues per month. Let me know if you're
interested....
I can't believe no one else is being driven crazy by this....I'll try
to be patient and assume that the Chief is operating in
mysterious ways that I cannot be expected to understand.

Joe, there may be only 1500+ members, but there are a huge # of "lurkers". Most are industry pros, I would surmise.

It's driving me crazy too, Joe. But it could be fun
The problem for me is this: if you look at JB's different books,
there is no "writing style" to identify because the writing
matches the content of the title. After this started yesterday, I
was thumbing through a few books to look for some repeating
stylistic flourishes, and I found that each title has its own voice.
This is what has kept me coming back over the years. Wonder
Woman doesn't talk like Sue Storm becasue they are different
characters. Even the comedy is different - compare the
comedic flourishes of Cliff's dialogue in DOOM PATROL to
SHE-HULK. So to me I can see him doing either LOONEY
TOONS or GREEN LANTERN. A puzzle! I guess the only thing
we can expect to see is a solid story that doesn't drag.
And I like that JB is not giving it up on silver platter!

Well, all I know is: there could be another DC book that I could be reading but unfortunately, I have no idea what it is. Too bad.

I doubt JB will keep it under wraps for too long. I can imagine any number of DC's new writers unnerved by fans asking "are you John Byrne?"

I will go on the record with my guess, (at the risk of being wrong and humiliated) and say that it is AJ Lieberman.
Here is why- (remember if this is wrong just ignore it)
AJ's first DC work (as far as I can tell) was a run on Harley Quinn
from issue 26 (nov 2002) through 38 when the series ended. In the
first issue, the writer called Harley, Harlene.. well read this from
another site
http://www.angelfire.com/my/harls/ongoing.html wrote:
As with any series, though, there have been a few faults. One
minor one is that they spell Harley's real name "Harlene" in
Lieberman's first issue, though, he might have done his research and this might be corrected in further issues. Harley's origin is somewhat jumbled in issue 26. It refers more to the origins of "Mad Love" rather
than Paul Dini's one-shot that introduced Harley into the mainstream.
It's basically Lieberman's own spin on Harley's origin, which I guess
is exciting in it's own way, though I wish he would have followed along
with the one-shot. Also, Arkham Asylum looks more like a high security
jail than a home for the insane. Can't have everything, I guess.

Two observations here:
1. JB is a real stickler for continuity, and respectiing what has come before (Harlene)
2. JB has stated that "Mad Love" is one of the greatest comic books ever produced.
As Harley was winding down "AJ" did a 6 issue backup in Detective
(789-794) and transitioned to Gotham Knights which he has written since
issue 50. (50-64 the current issue I believe is 62). Mixed in a few issues of Legends of hte Dark Knight (179, 182-184).
Regarding JB's tantalizing quote: AJ has been writing a DC book for more than a year now, and that book is Gotham Knights.
I have not read many of these books. I read Gotham knights 50-55
which was the return of Hush, and enjoyed it. I will try to check
these out and then either support my post, or retract it, and sulk in
the corner.
I havent for the life of me been able to puzzle through the "notice"
part of the clue. Pretty weak, but logically it is the only one
that fits the clues.
Todd
ps. JB's favorite DCU character by far is Batman.
pps. regarding the Newsarama interview:
http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&thread id=25699
When Stephen King wrote Thinner using the pen name Richard Bachman,
there was a complete persona created which did interviews and was
photographed for the cover. I would suggest that it is possible
that an interview like this was done by phone.
ppps. If this is all true and in anyway ruins the surprise delete the post with my apologies.
edited to add:
pppps. (just in case) To the real AJ Lieberman: I
apologize profusely for the above post. I really enjoyed your
work on GK and am looking forward to reading the rest of your
stories. (that should do it)

I will go on the record with my guess:
He is not writing anything under a pseudonym. He cracked a joke
and is sitting back, watching the fun as this board fills pages and
pages with speculation on it. We take this stuff way too
seriously.
