This is like the old saying, "if you tell a lie long enough and big enough people will start to believe it". Todd H. is brainwashing me into doubting my belief that this was a joke. I fear that if the thread goes another three pages I might be converted. Must...stop...reading...this......thread!

JB is about as cunning a writer working in the fieldning a writer working in the field

Cunning writer or cunning linguist?  I would prefer the latter as to the former.  Many more applications.

Except as in "AY" as in neighbor and weigh.  Got to remember the whole thing.

That is what the ...... was meant to connotate (the neighbor/weigh business).  I guess I should have put that part in as well.

Thanks James.

Apparently in Greater Cleveland we mangled the rhyme a bit.  According to most sources it's:

Use I before E except after C or sounding as AY as in neighbor and weigh.

I'm afraid the pen name isn't AJ Lieberman.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=1482

MTV and movie writer Andy Lieberman (Crazy Cool, The Jon Stewart Show) hops aboard with HARLEY QUINN #26, bringing along the amazing artistic talents of Mike Huddleston (The Coffin, Cable) & Troy Nixey (BATMAN: THE DOOM THAT CAME TO GOTHAM)!

Click on this for an interview with AJ when he took over Harley Quinn:

Like I have been saying I really have enjoyed the AJ Lieberman written stories that I have read the last couple of days.  And I will continue to search them out.  I highly recommend the first arc of Harley Quinn 26-30.  First rate, IMHO.
